Beneficiary: SMG Silesia Ltd.
Purpose of the project: to increase production capacity, introduce a new innovative service and change the process through the implementation of the technology of an underground system for heat and cold extraction and storage. The results of the project will be achieved through the purchase of works and construction materials, machinery and equipment, and systems planned by the project. The investment also includes the concept of obtaining and using electricity from RES in the production process.
The implementation of the project will furthermore have numerous additional effects, including:
The project leads to minimizing the consumption of raw materials and the volume of waste, reducing emissions and energy loss by creating a closed loop of processes in which waste from one process is used as raw materials for others, thus reducing the global amount of waste as much as possible. Implementation of the project will contribute to mitigating the effects of the transformation of the Silesian province affecting the economy, employment, society and the environment
The project will contribute to the development of the infrastructure of the SMG ŚLĄSK SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ company by, among other things, offering services according to designed innovative and environmentally friendly processes. The proposed solution has particularly high potential for cooperation with municipal heating systems, as well as large industrial plants.
